He said, “The organisations have understood that productivity is not a factor of having your own office space. Businesses have continued to operate. Ashish Chawla talked about how Oyo adapted its business during the lockdown period. He shared, “Oyo tied up with medical organisations and hospitals across India to provide safe accommodation to healthcare professionals or those who are asymptomatic people who did not want to put their families at risk. Anjali Ajaikumar shared how the hospitals were impacted during the past few months. She mentioned the initial decline in the number of patients coming to hospitals and what measures they implemented to maintain safety. She said, “To protect our patients, we provided transport for them to reach the hospital safely. We also made virtual consults and increased home care for our patients… For our employees, we bought a stock of PPEs in advance. We also changed the nursing planning where we separated our nurses’ routines and maintained the social distancing.” Anjali also shared that HCG is looking at how technology can help in reducing the non-clinical staff to ensure less human contact and more safety at the hospitals.
