♦ The IVCA Executive Committee and Members interacted with Mr. Jayant Sinha, Member of Parliament & Chairperson, Standing Committee on Finance in May 2020 with overall Industry representations. Standing Committee on Finance, shared the IVCA's recommendations on online media.

Advocacy and Engagement

1) Meeting was organised with SEBI on the Distributor Guideline & framework for Registration of Distributors of AIFs with the Working group consisting of the IVCA Members on 01st September 2020.
2) A Roundtable was organised for IVCA Members with National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) under the chairmanship of Secretary, NSIC and in presence of Secretary MSME for suggestions to some of the clauses under Guidelines for the proposed Self-Reliant India Fund.
3) A virtual meeting with SIDBI's new GM Mr. Subodh Mishra and team was organised to discuss some of the industry concerns with a few of Venture Capital Council Members dated 30th September 2020.
4) Discussion held with Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on the draft framework for direct listing of unlisted companies on permitted stock exchanges in permissible foreign jurisdictions.
