Aparna Mangla serves as the Investment Director at British International Investment (BII) since April 2021, following a role as India Regional Head at Shell Foundation where investment strategies focused on mobility and energy with a social impact from January 2020 to April 2021. Additionally, Mangla held advisory positions at Dharma Life and Waterbus during the same period while previously engaging in VC investments at Times Group in 2019. From 2017 to 2019, Mangla was the Director of Global Financing at d.light and served as Assistant Director at Cargill Capital and Financial Services from 2012 to 2016, specializing in structured finance and working capital investments. Early career experience includes a role in Global Markets Structuring at Deutsche Bank and an Associate Summer Internship at Lehman Brothers, where Mangla received a Pre-Placement Offer. Mangla holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a B.Tech in Information Technology from the Indian Institute Of Information Technology.
