Helly Ajmera

Director - Infrastructure & Renewable Resources BCI

Helly Ajmera joined BCI as Director in January 2023. Helly is responsible for Asia investments and growing the program’s footprint in Asian countries. She works with the boards and leadership teams of BCI’s direct Asia and Middle East investments in the pursuit of long-term value creation. She represents BCI on the Boards of Cube Highways and Data Infrastructure Trust. With $250.4 billion of gross managed assets as of March 31, 2024, BCI is one of Canada’s largest institutional investors within the global capital markets.

Prior to joining BCI, Helly practiced infrastructure advisory for over 15 years at Ernst & Young. During her time there, she advised global pension funds and infrastructure funds on investments across renewable energy, transportation, utilities, and digital verticals. She has a background in investments and asset management.

Helly has completed her post graduation in management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and graduated as an engineer in telecommunications.
