Mr. Kapil Bansal currently holds the position of India Energy Transition and Decarbonization Partner at EY. He has more than 21+ years of experience in the energy & environment sector across technology due diligence/assessment, low carbon growth strategies/technologies, climate change and decarbonization, new energies/hydrogen, air quality, sustainable urban cities, product design & evaluation, and policy/regulatory issues. He has supported the Green H2 JV operationalization business plan and strategy including a Supply Chain competitiveness assessment for a Large Middle Eastern national oil company. Also, he is involved in supply chain configuration and planning for a 1 GW electrolyzer Green H2 facility located in Gujarat for Indian Energy Major. He Spearheaded a digital marketplace aggregator model for a global supermajor in India to enhance revenue generation of over $54.2 m for all the ecosystem players in the lubricant value chain. Mr. Bansal led a Digital Strategy engagement for a Malaysian NOCs 9 train of LNG business unit in which four used cases of advanced analytics were elected by the client. He also led strategic blueprinting and execution of Application Portfolio Rationalization for a lubricant market leader in India. He Led the "Capital Project and Procurement Services" project at India’s one of the largest integrated refining and marketing companies involving capital. Mr. Bansal also led an "Operational Excellence" program covering contracting strategy risk management, etc. in construction management for L&T Hydrocarbon division in the Middle East having cost savings of $15m pa. He supervised the "Demand Management" workstream for a leading power generation and distribution company in Saudi Arabia.
