Vandana leads the GIRL Capital work for Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) in India that works for School to Work transition of girls and young women. She Joined CIFF in 2022, following almost two years with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) as Impact Investment lead, where she led the work for India’s first and world’s largest Impact Bond in Skilling for $14.4m, focused on women. 

Vandana is a respected professional in the skilling and livelihood sector, with over a decade of strategy and management experience in driving private sector investment. Vandana is a Chartered Accountant by training and education and has also worked in EY and PwC in her early professional life.
